2006年7月4日是美国独立日，美国搜索引擎网站为了庆祝这个节日，专门做了装饰。

ASK.com做了狂热的烟火壁纸，Google的新logo主题是两个舞蹈的熊，而Yahoo使用自由女神做logo的主题。而MSN似乎遗忘了…（MSN一直没有这个习惯）。
